I wanted to share the attached document outlining the proper use and application of the indoor unit / outdoor unit I/O connector cable for VRF models. Please take some time to review the document, as it provides an overview of the available I/O connections and their intended applications.
Section 3, Third-Party Auxiliary Heat Configuration, I want everyone to pay close attention to. On our previous generation equipment, auxiliary heat control was accomplished through CN25. With our R32 equipment, this has changed. For R32 indoor units, auxiliary heat control is now handled through CN7 rather than CN25. This change excludes the AVU multi position AHU using the factory provided electric heat kit.
Please make sure your teams are aware of this change and are referencing the appropriate R32 documentation when providing installation or technical support.

One cable is two in one. So order the cable and cut in half. R32 units will be utilizing CN3 for the leak detector. Wall controller will be the only thing to show the leak fault. On r32 units go to PSW3 and hold for 10 seconds to release alarm.
