He was commissioning a CO₂ unit after the oil separator filter had been changed.
The flash tank pressure was all over the place.
Andrew said it was some of the worst pressure instability he had seen.

What I like about this one is where the troubleshooting went.
He adjusted the fan ramp speed.
He slowed the VFD ramp speeds on the low-temp and medium-temp compressors.
He also sped up the response time on the AKA326A controlling receiver pressure.

The flash tank pressure smoothed out.
There is a good CO₂ lesson in that.
When a pressure starts hunting or swinging, don't automatically assume there is one bad component causing it.
On a transcritical system, several controls can be reacting to the same system condition at the same time.
Compressor capacity changes.
Fan control changes.
Receiver pressure control responds.
If those responses are fighting each other or moving too aggressively, the pressure you're watching can become unstable.
You have to look at the whole control interaction, not just the number jumping around on the screen.
That type of troubleshooting takes system understanding.
