How to test the EEV coil and control board out put on Fujitsu systems. Using "back-probe" test leads will make this, and test like these easier and more accurate, as the connection points on these systems are very small.
You can use the attached document to find the values on the EEV's as well.
Be sure to perform both tests as pictured. The ohms test strictly looks at the coils of the EEV solenoid. The voltage test determines if we have power going to the EEV from the board. Then you will be able to discern weather its a board issue or EEV coil issue.
Service Tip:
- Upon restart of system(power cycle), the EEV's will make a slight clicking sound as they are pulsing closed. If you do not hear this, you know you have a bad EEV or power issue.
