To support continuous improvement in condensate management of the Vertical EVD4X, and Multi-poise
EVM4X V-Coil drain pans, running changes to the tooling will start rolling into production throughout the
month of February. These tooling improvements will help with the following:
1. Keep the 4x drains horizontal (parallel to the floor) when attached to the connecting drainpipe.
2. Improve condensate blow off from the drain pan in certain downflow applications.
3. Improve condensate leakage into the secondary drain in certain downflow applications.
For the first two revisions, there are no outwardly noticeable changes to the drain pan designs.
For the third revision on both the Vertical and Multi-poise drain pan (when used in a vertical applications) you
will note that the Secondary Drains will be located on the outside and the Primary Drains will be located on the
inside. These ports will be noted as ‘P’ Primary, and ‘S’ Secondary via embossed letters next to the drain ports.
The drain pan ports for Horizontal Multi-poise installations will not change from what is currently shipping and will likewise have the Primary/Secondary designations.
