Situation:

Starting the week of February 5th, 2024, the affected furnaces listed above, if controlled by ac onnected Ion™ wall control, will be notified of a software Update. The new furnace board software will enhance the communication between the gas valve and circuit board.

This update will not require a technician and will be completed as an Over the Air (OTA) download. The update notice at the wall control will appear as a green download indicator and software update popup notice. Accepting the update will bring you to the software upgrade summary screen, indicating

an update for the furnace control, and asking to accept and update
