L49-661 THM6000R7001/U REDLINK INTERNET GATEWAY

The gateway makes it possible for Redlink enabled thermostats to be able to be seen online. The gateway is simply a devices that communicates to the Redlink items and then allows it to bee seen from the internet.

As one of our techs put it...

" Think of the GATEWAY as a bridge. On one end of the bridge is REDLINK. On the other end of the bridge is the world wide web, and all the wonders associated with it.

The GATEWAY is just a bridge. It's not a Hotspot. It's not a server. It's not Alexa. It's not Siri. It's just a bridge.

Without internet service, it's a bridge to nowhere!"

Maximum Number of Hosts: 4 per RedLINK Internet Gateway

A "host" is:

• A thermostat that is wired to the heating/cooling equipment, or to a zone on a zone panel.

• If the thermostat uses an EIM (Equipment Interface Module), then the EIM is the host (one thermostat per EIM).

• If the thermostat is linked to an HZ322 or HZ432 zone panel with a THM4000R wireless adaptor, then the zone panel is the host (up to 3 thermostats per HZ322 and up to 4 thermostats per HZ432).
