Four Steps to Select a Compressor Contactor

1. Determine the system voltage.

2. Determine if the compressor is to be started by Full Voltage or Part-Winding (one contactor or two contactor start).

3. Obtain the compressor RLA and LRA values from Table 4 for medium and low temperature applications or Table 5 for high temperature applications.

4. Check Emerson Approved Contactor Description. Refer to Table 4 for contactor requirements for Medium and Low temperature applications or Table 5 for high temperature applications.
